Candy Box
Large-Scale Digital Art · Outernet London
Candy Box is a maximalist digital world created for Outernet London, transforming its monumental screens into an immersive assortment of fantastical creatures, botanical forms an ornamental sculptures.
Inspired by the anticipation of opening a box of chocolates, the work brings together a collection of individually sculpted objects, each with its own character, texture and intricate details. Drawing on Baroque ornamentation, fantasy and jewellery design, the piece celebrates visual excess and the joy of discovery. Created using Maxon ZBrush, the project began with the sculpting of individual forms before they were brought together into a larger animated composition. Presented across Outernet’s vast digital canvas, these intimate sculptures expand to architectural scale, inviting audiences to explore a world where digital craft meets immersive spectacle. Created with the support of Maxon. Presented at Outernet London from June 1 to September 6, 2026, Candy Box was extended beyond its originally scheduled exhibition period following its success. The installation ran for an additional month, with an estimated potential footfall of 2.7 million visitors over the intended exhibition period.
