The ‘Rosetide Guardian’ is a rare spirit-beast said to be born where moonlight touches fields of wild roses. Legends describe them as keepers of balance between beauty and ferocity, their jeweled foreheads glowing whenever danger nears.
Unlike ordinary tigers, their faces blossom with living petals and ornate, gem-like markings - a natural armor bestowed by the forest itself. It is believed that these creatures absorb the essence of flowers in bloom, carrying with them the memory of each season.
Though fierce in appearance, the Rosetide Guardians are said to be protectors of sacred groves. Their roar is said to scatter storms, and their gaze can calm even the most vengeful spirits. To see one is an omen of renewal, as if nature itself has come alive to defend what is fragile.

Inspired by James Jean’s poetic world-building and dreamy compositions, this piece reimagines his 2D painting ‘The Traveller’ as a dimensional sculpture. Translating Jean’s ethereal vision into 3D presented both technical and artistic challenges, with a focus on preserving his signature flow and surreal elegance. Flowing forms, floral motifs, and soft pastel tones maintain the narrative grace of the original while introducing new dimensional depth.

Now, it roams the skies between dusk and dawn, weaving through clouds like ribbons of fate. Though feared in myth, Serynth is a silent guardian of the upper air, guiding lost spirits and watching over the world from beyond the veil of stars.
