At POSSIBLE, the role focused on leading the 3D asset creation and visual development for BLACKPINK’s ‘Pretty Savage’, a key moment in the group’s record-breaking Born Pink world tour. Tasked with designing visuals that matched BLACKPINK’s signature mix of elegance and attitude, I created a series of hyperreal, alien-inspired florals that transformed the stage into a blooming digital dream.
The visuals supported one of the most successful tours in history, with 66 global stadium shows across 34 cities, over 330 million dollars in gross revenue, and an audience of more than 1.8 million attendees worldwide. For ‘Pretty Savage’, the brief was to create visuals that felt luxurious yet untamed, mirroring BLACKPINK’s ‘girl crush’ identity and amplifying the track’s raw and confident energy.
The resulting sequences featured iridescent blossoms and abstract botany that moved with fluid, choreographed motion, digitally alive and tuned to the rhythm of the performance. Ethereal and otherworldly, the work lived at the intersection of luxury branding and sci-fi fantasy, designed to feel as iconic as the performance itself.
For 'Pretty Savage', these alien floral visuals were crafted to feel both otherworldly and opulent, aligning with the group’s bold stage presence, empowered sensuality and futuristic brand identity. Each flower was crafted as a unique embodiment of a BLACKPINK member. With four members in the group and four core floral forms designed for the track, the concept naturally evolved into a study of identity through nature; a visual metaphor for the individuality within the collective. Each flower was designed to express its own distinct personality through form, texture and movement. From soft iridescence to sharp detailing, their traits echo the contrast and chemistry that defines BLACKPINK’s presence: elegance with power, softness with defiance, mystique with clarity.
