For the ‘Digital Make-Up’ challenge, audiences were invited to experience the looks not just on screen, but interactively through custom Snapchat AR filters. As part of a team of Lens Creators and 3D Artists alongside Balraj Bains, Abbie Peach, Mabu Yu and Maria Landelund the role was to translate each contestant’s bold, physical make-up designs into immersive, shareable augmented reality experiences. Using Lens Studio and bespoke 3D assets, interactive effects were developed to capture the essence of each look, ensuring the artistry held up both technically and creatively within Snapchat’s platform. The result was a set of dynamic filters that extended the life of the show’s creative vision, allowing fans to step into the contestants’ work and experience their artistry firsthand. This project was a unique intersection of television, make-up artistry, and interactive technology, showcasing how AR can amplify creative storytelling and bring audiences closer to the action.</image:caption>

Unlike traditional eyewear or earlier Spectacles models, Spectacles 3 were built for augmented creativity, merging fashion and technology to enable creators to design immersive, depth-aware AR experiences directly from a wearable device. Commissioned by Snapchat as part of the Spectacles 3 Creator Campaign, this project explored the intersection of storytelling, depth capture, and augmented reality through a series of interactive Lenses designed to showcase the product’s advanced capabilities. WrestleMania is the pinnacle of WWE’s calendar, a multi-brand pay-per-view and livestreaming event produced each year since 1985 and watched by millions across global broadcast, streaming, and social platforms. My role centred on designing and lighting dynamic stage assets that served as the primary entry and exit points for talent as they made their way to the ring. Using Maya for modelling and lighting, I developed multiple iterations of the stage concept - exploring night and day looks, architectural treatments, and lighting strategies - to capture the energy and spectacle befitting WrestleMania’s scale. The final stage design mixes bold architectural forms with layered lighting and animated visual language inspired by Las Vegas showmanship, creating a powerful and memorable backdrop for live broadcast and event presentation.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>'AURELIA' is composed of luminous, flowing structures that resemble both organic wings and sculptural ribbons of color, suggesting the unseen energies that guide cycles of growth, dissolution, and renewal.  A defining element of the sculpture is its use of backlighting, which transforms the work from a static object into a luminous presence; light emanates from behind the butterfly’s wings, diffusing softly through their layered forms. Symbolically, the radiance created by the backlighting can represent inner illumination. In many spiritual traditions, light is associated with awakening, consciousness, and the emergence of wisdom from within. Bacou is interested in working with highly recognizable, consumerist symbols; icons that circulate widely through popular culture, and recontextualizing them within a more stylized and intricate visual framework. Here, the butterfly appears as an almost kitsch representation of spirituality. Sculpted in ZBrush, textured in Substance Painter and rendered in Maya and Redshift.</image:caption>
